JVL-Consulting was formed in May 2008 in collaboration with the company "Sher Ingénieurs Conseil", when, for efficiency reasons, the Company Jules VAN LANCKER (JVL) transferred to the fullest its consultancy activities to a brand new company.

Its expertise in consultancy relies on a sound and long practical experience in breeding acquired within the company J. VAN LANCKER (JVL). 

Created in 1927 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, JVL is an agro-industrial company engaged in breeding and agricultural activities. It is also involved in transforming and placing on the market the production from two ranches totalling a surface area of 150 000ha and 50 000 selected N'Dama bovines.

For more than 35 years now, JVL has been active in production- and animal health-related areas such as sanitary and phyto‐sanitary surveillance, quality control of products from farming (milk, meat), identification and registration of animals, veterinary inspection and epidemiological surveillance.
